In many respects, online schooling removes much of the inefficiency and rigidity that is common in traditional brick-and-mortar schools. There is no time wasted in the physical coordination of large groups, no paper-based administration, no limitations on following a student’s progress in a big class, no passive learning, no school uniform and no one-size-fits-all approach.
At CGA, you can’t hide in the back row. Every student is seen and heard, and no one is left behind. Learning time is precious, and learning analytics help CGA keep track of a student’s cognitive and behavioural development. The same discipline that exists at a brick-and-mortar school is valued online, and our teachers help students stay on track every step of the way.
Experienced teachers will teach all classes in real-time, providing an engaging and collaborative learning environment. This means you can ask questions, discuss issues and receive feedback. Classes can be interactive with follow-up tutoring and video presentations.
CGA classes are small and limited to 15 students to ensure an interactive classroom where each student receives the education they deserve.
CGA uses a variety of online tools where students can socialize with their peers across the world. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities and student-led clubs where students can socialize with others who have the same interests. CGA also hosts regular student meet-ups across different cities around the world.
Students can join CGA classes from as young as 10 years old through our US Junior High program. Students aged 10 and younger should take a look at CGA’s Primary School. Students wishing to accelerate to a higher course level may sit diagnostic testing to determine their academic readiness for higher-level courses. Students as young as 11 may be considered for acceleration into high-school level courses. Based on their age, students who qualify for acceleration may be able to join our group courses, or they can pursue accelerated learning through our 1:1 program.
